The Swindon Club seeks to celebrate our fine town of Swindon and prove it's not devoid of Art and Culture ... was that tumbleweed blowing past? We also wish to promote the many varied events happening in Swindon ... if 
can remember to log in once in a while.
We also intend to show why Swindon is a marvellous place to live (or escape from?) and we need some local deviants' help to do this! Thank you to our loyal members for not ditching this club before now. Let's prove there is life!

Booth House Art Group & CaroleHumphreys (https://www.deviantart.com/carolehumphreys) will be exhibiting their art on September 7th & 8th, and September 14th and 15th at the Community Gallery in Theatre Square Swindon. Actually, we've just been given the window this year, so it's going to be a challenge.
If you're in the neighbourhood and would like to come along, you'll be most welcome!
There will be lots of other artists taking part in exhibitions throughout the Swindon area. I do hope you're able to check them out.

Swindon Open Studios

There is a wonderful Art event happening in Swindon over the weekends of 10th & 11th September and 17th & 18th September. Local artists will be opening their studios to visitors or taking part in group exhibitions in a number of venues in and around Swindon.
I will be among the artists exhibiting work in The Platform (the former Railway Museam) between 11 - 5pm on all four dates. If you are able to drop in, it would be lovely to see you.

This is Carole, *CaroleHumphreys (https://www.deviantart.com/carolehumphreys) I will chat to Ami shortly and hope we can get the club happening again. We've got a lot of artistically talented people in Swindon and a lot of reasons to sing the praises of Swindon (er .... why not remind me of some?) :D
